Issue with tap area in WebObjects in Safari mobile

May 20, 2014

Hi all,

I often use external WebObjects in Articulate Storyline to display different content in slide, which are simple HTML files. When I view the course via Safari mobile browser I tracked tap area is flow through the whole slide. Look at attached image on the first tab the highlighted area is cover the tab and with other next tab it moves left. In the right part of slide to press the Tab 15, I should press the previous tab because the tap focus doesn’t cover the tab. I guess, Safari mobile browser doesn’t handle <iframe> tags in order, therefore display such faults. It was tested on iOS 5.1.1 and iOS 7.1.1 If to display WebObject in a new browser window then it works correctly. Any ideas about using WebObjects in slide? or How to prepare HTML before inserting on a slide? The source file with WebObjects is slide is attached.
