I noticed when I publish a piece for the IPAD using the Articulate Mobile Player that the Resources tab does not show in the player. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there another way to get the Resources tab to show?
I was able to get the resources and / or glossary tabs to show up in the iOS player by moving them down into the sidebar. I didn't test to see if configured resources actually display. The tab seems to appear.
I'll echo this concern. I've been trying to find a way to work around this for a few hours. Originally I had believed that it would work in content published in Storyline but not Studio (based on a video post that I now believe is inaccurate) so I chased that longer than I should have. Argh.
It's something that you can see a few users have submitted as a feature request, but it's still not included as a part of the mobile player. As to why, I'm not on our development team so I can't answer that question. If you need the resource tab you may want to look at using the HTML5 output.
We have just run in to this problem which was brought about indirectly via the iOS 9 issue we encountered. More of our students are now expecting to use their ipads to access their work so we have published to articulate mobile app. This was before I saw all the reviews and started to get feedback of issues including the fact you cannot see the resources tab in the mobile app. Come on Articulate this was raised over 3 years ago....how can you encourage us to publish to the app when it doesn't have full functionality?
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, and you are welcome to share your thoughts with our product development team here as well.
As Ashley mentioned above, you may want to consider utilizing the HTML5 output on your mobile devices. You can read more about that here. The comparison chart of the various viewing can be found here.
I am using Storyline 3 and this is still an issue using the Articulate Mobil App on my Samsung Galaxy S6. I have sent in a request but this issue has been around for 5 years it seems from reading this thread. I hope it gets fixed. In the meantime I will try a lightbox popup with resources links.
You can choose to not include the Articulate Mobile Player as one of the publishing options - and then it'll default to the HTML5 output. You'll see this in the publishing options here:

You could likely hyperlink to the file individually or set up a light box with links to the files
Thanks Phil!

Hi Steve,
I tried that as well but the tab did not show for me, probably because I already had an attachment linked to it.
Man this is a huge problem - I hope they are able to provide this feature in the future!
You can voice that request here Richard.

Why haven't you addressed this yet?

My bad for not reading and just assuming core functionality like resources would show
Publishing to HTML5 now to resolve it :)
Sounds great Mike!

If you don't use the mobile app then resources will be available.
When the course is launched via a link it automatically looks to open the
app. Even if I cut and paste it into my phones browser.
