Issue with Web Objects in Internet Explorer 10
Jun 08, 2015
Hi! I'm not sure if anyone will be able to help me with this but just encase...
I'm made a SCORM file containing four web objects (videos) amongst the various slides and uploaded it to our Moodle. On Chrome, Firefox and IE11 this works fine, on IE10 however, the second web object causes the window to go white and nothing else happens.
I've tried making a separate file with the exact same four web objects in which runs fine and I've recreated the project from scratch to make sure there wasn't a bug in the file or anything from my testing of the various methods of displaying the videos.
I'd ignore it but as the college has a large number of PCs with IE10 still installed and not enough time in the day to update them all it would be handy if it worked.
Like I say I'm not sure if anyone will be able to help as the issue seems pretty weird but any help would be appreciated.
Cheers, Will

Hi Will!
Are you saying that you cannot re-create this issue in another file or you are still having the same issue?
I can only recall one user reporting something similar as you can see here, but it was on the other end :)
Hi Leslie,
Both I suppose. I can't work out why it's doing it and can't recreate the issue?
This is in Storyline 1 (sorry I forgot to mention that bit) and it's not just my machine as I can make other projects which run fine?
If you are just having issues with the one project then, perhaps importing it into a new file will alleviate this issue for you.
Yes I thought that and so re-created it from scratch (not wanting to import the problem with all the information and such) and am still stuck with the same results?
Same results if you test this content in SCORM Cloud? Trying to eliminate your LMS. If you can replicate it, I would recommend sharing your .story file with us here.
I do vaguely remember some older issues with Moodle related to blank windows... does your college keep your Moodle site up-to-date with bug fixes and using a supported Moodle release?
