There are a few slides on my current project for which I need to change the slide master. When I go into slide master to change the slide, everything works normally. I click on the master I'd like to change it to and hit "Close Master View." However, when I return to the slide again, nothing has changed. It still has the original slide master. Is there some way I might have inadvertently locked it? I'm having this issue with several different lessons--any help would be great.
If you make changes to a slide master, those changes should appear automatically on any slide using that master.
If you need to change what slide master an individual slide is using, you'll want to right click on it within story view, or in the panel on the left in slide view and select Layout -> from there you'll see the master slides available to you. Here is a tutorial on working with slide masters.
Hi Marielle! I do not seem to be having difficulty and I recorded a brief screencast where you can see it change immediately for me. Please let me know if I'm misunderstanding.
Are you able to replicate this issue in a new file, or are you having issue with this one file? Please be sure that you are working locally and I would advise that you import into a new file to try to alleviate the issue.
If you are having issue with multiple files, please repair your software.

I attached my project. I gonna use just the Incorrect Layer.

Hi Marielle! Thanks for sharing your .story file. Can you explain the issue that you are having and perhaps the slide numbers as well?
I just need to use the incorrect layer, on all of the slide.
So when I do the right click to select the incorrect layer, nothing change.

The probleme is the texte. When I select the Incorrect layer the text is not the same as in incorrect layer on slide master...
