Issues when importing SVGs via Powerpoint to Storyline 360

Aug 12, 2021

I'm trying to import some SVGs via Powerpoint (Office 365) into Storyline 360 v3.5.25674.0

As you can see in the attached image, the SVGs appear to be correct on the SL360 import screen, but once imported, the SVGs are transparent. I can add shape and outline fills, but in some cases the SVGs are missing elements (see last image).

Not sure where to go from here. Need help!

Hi Brady,

Thanks for sharing that image of what you're experiencing! We've seen random behavior similar to this in the past, and you may be running into a bug where imported SVG images from PowerPoint randomly appear blank.

I'd like to get our support team to lend a hand and test your file. You should see an email with an upload link arrive soon. Please share the PowerPoint file, and our team will get back to you after they're done taking a look!

Hello Brady!

I wanted to quickly share that we are no longer seeing this bug, Imported SVG files randomly shows blank, in our latest version of Storyline 360.

I'd recommend using Storyline 360 (Build 3.61.27106.0) or later.

You can reach our Support Team in this discussion or privately in a support case.
