Issues With Markers And Images

As a company we want to create image based processes in our storyline courses that tell a story relating to our course. We want the user to be able to hover over and select each image (defined by us) and it will act like a marker and give information about the image/step along with some additional image based information within the marker. We have been doing this by putting the marker within the state of the image. However the markers have proven not to work very well and have been very difficult to work with and given very unreliable results. Has anyone else found this or even better found a better way of doing what we want with images in storyline?

Try this little marker trick I found out.
Hello Alan,
You could also add the information into the state of the object instead of a marker. You can use the built in states for Hover and selected.
Hi Jerson, that is exactly what we are trying to do and what we have been doing although your method is a little slicker, so that you for that. I will work with your method to see if it solves our problems with reliability. Thanks again.
Glad Jerson was able to assist here Alan!
Hello, this is exactly what I was looking for...but the link is no longer functional. Is this still possible in Storyline 360?
Hi Michelle, I took down my blogs but the video is still up. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JbU8oke_jmI. I haven't tested it out on 360, but its worth a shot.
