On this slide, the texts goes away then the next button is changed to normal. However, on my other slides the text stays when the next button changes to normal. I'm guessing it has something to do with the timeline and the arrows, but I don't know how to fix it. Suggestions?

Right-click the text (and any other items) and select 'Show until End'.
