I created a timeline. It did work and now it doesn't I'm not sure what I did or am doing wrong. If you know anything about timelines, please take a look and give me some advice.
Is there a way for items/layers in the timeline not to display in the main editing window if the playback marker is at a time when the layers are not yet visible? See screenshot attached. I'm at 1 second in the timeline but the 'Text Box' and 'Rectangle' items are showing up in the editor window even though they don't appear until 4 seconds in the timeline.
Currently I'm constantly turning on and off items in order to be able to edit the sequence.
Hi Web -- Thanks for reaching out and sorry to hear of your troubles! Apologies if I am misunderstanding, but I am not aware of a method to recommend for what you have in mind. Perhaps others will have some ideas to suggest to assist you further.
When you use the timeline playhead the elements on the slide stage won't change or disappear based on that. It's something that we've heard some feedback on in terms of allowing that to show a real time view (similar to how the preview slide functions). I'd love to see more feedback on this from users, and would invite you to share here as well.
Also, you could look at using the "eye" icon to the left of the object title in the timeline to hide it all together while you're editing and working on the slide. Just be sure to unhide it when you're done and ready to publish or else it won't appear on those slides in preview/publish.
