I'm having the same issue. The javascript print trigger will not work in Firefox or Chrome, only IE. Any update on this? I've published my story and had others try it from various locations and computers.
Javascript is not something I'm equipped to support - so I hope that someone in the community is able to assist. You may want to share a sample of your course here or more information in regards to the hosting site, code used, etc.
I'm following this discussion as I am also having issues with the javascript print command. I'm using it on a slide layer that gets filled in by the user. It either prints a black screen or prints without the content. Any chance someone can address this at the Articulate Conference in October (co-located with DevLearn)?
This discussion is a bit older, so I'm not sure if folks are still subscribed and coming back here to share updates.
Perhaps you can share a bit more about your setup, version of Storyline, and where you're hosting/testing the content? That'll help folks in the community offer more advice and suggestions to resolve it.
Also, feel free to start a new discussion with this issue so that it has a bit more prominence in the ELH community.

Don't you have to publish not preview to execute any JavaScript triggers.
I have found that the java script print trigger works in IE, but not Mozilla or Chrome.

Hi Nicole,
Just as a reminder, you'll want to ensure you're testing the published content within the intended environment as described here.
Yes I did.

Would love for this to work! Any new ideas on how to get window.print(); to work in Chrome or Firefox?

I am having trouble as well.
I have read and reread almost all of the forums about this, am was even successful last year, but this time around, I am just stuck.
What I do to test is SCORM and upload to cloud.scorm.com
My computer is Windows10.
I have tested in both Chrome and IE11
The data is being properly imported, I know that name will only populate from the LMS, but nothing will print.
If anyone is able to quickly see what code is missing, that would be great karma.
The .story file is attached.
