Javascript date issue

Hi all

I was on the forums and found a post that said how to use JavaScript to pull the date from the users computer. This has been working great for me without any issues when using IE8, but when I gave it to someone to test who's using IE7 it simply leaves that area blank.

Has anyone had this issue and know how to fix it?
