JavaScript functionallity
Jan 31, 2020
Hi there,
has anyone noticed a change in the functionallity of executing JavaScript since the last Storyline update? We used the method from Lizzie (https://community.articulate.com/discussions/articulate-storyline/javascript-to-mute-audio?page=4) to mute videos in our Storyline projects.
When I checked and reexported one of those courses today, the muting is no longer working (tested in Firefox/Chrome). Attached you will find a simple example with a video and a mute button, which executes the JavaScript on click.
Please let me know if it works for you, or if you have any ideas.
Many thanks in advance
Maik

Apparently a recent update broke that particular Javascript, and others. In fact, I can't get any Javascript to run, so I was going to ask the community if they had any examples if it working after the update. Here is another thread where it's discussed.

Thank you very much for your reply, I hope they will reimplement it again in the next update ...
