Javascript inconsistant playback for some users

Long story short, I build a javascript timer that worked fine on my local machine, found out once I uploaded it to a server it stopped working, fixed that, however when testing with other people on that same server, it would work for some people and not for others. Why would I see issues on a server but not locally (this ended up being an issue with variable names)? And what could cause the javascript to not play for some users, being that we are in a corporate environment with same OS images and browsers(internet options defined by Admin)? Current Patches for Storyline have been updated. *EDIT - One more thing to add, I have noticed in the "Execute Javascript" tigger I will make an edit, select ok to save changes and select ok to close out the trigger options. When I go into the trigger again I see that the changes have not been saved. Any reason why this might happen?
