Javascript to track access to courses

Apr 09, 2018

Hi folks!

I recently attended the Articulate Roadshow in Manchester, UK (which was brilliant!) and one of the sessions was on javascript which went a little bit over my head. One of the topics discussed was the use of javascript to count or log IP addresses(?) that have accessed a course. I remember something about saving the data to a google spreadsheet(?). Can anyone point me in the direction of some guidance on this that I can show to my developer colleague? We have courses that are published on our website and also on our intranet that are not within our LMS (by choice) but we would still like to have some sort of 'hit counter' on them if that's possible. We're using Storyline 2.

Thanks so much in advance.

Kathy
