JavaScript wont work in Story.swf

Hi Everyone  

I've made a little drag and drop demo (attached) to solve a problem I was having getting my LMS to report on the learner response to drag and drop interactions (the problem being that it wasnt!) 

I figured I could use a text interaction instead to concatenate responses using Javascript. This works beautifully in HTML 5 however it does not work at all in the story.swf file which, of course, is the one my LMS (moodle) uses! 

According to the SL best practices, JavaScript should work in both HTML and Flash but I just cant figure it out! 

Any help would be much appreciated!
