My slides show blanks where my jpegs or photographic characters are suppose to be when I click to enlarge my slides, but on the smaller (left side) slide view I see them. This happened after "experiencing an error" and closing. Has anyone heard of this? I restarted my computer and the software is still acting like this.
Oh no, Nancy - sorry this is causing you such a struggle. Did you look at importing your file into a brand new Storyline file? You can follow the steps here to give it a try, and that often resolved odd behavior in Storyline files. I'd also take a look at the best practices listed here for working on Storyline files, as we've seen similar behavior before when .story files were saved and edited from a network/shared drive vs. a local drive such as your C drive
Thank you for your response. It did not work, but I imported it (and the pictures did not follow), and then I am inserting the pictures/characters.
I worked only on my c drive. So I don't know what happened.
If you are interested, I'll send you the corrupt file. It's strange, because you can see the picture in the small view of the slides on the left, and when I click to open the slide, the pictures dissapear.
Hi Nancy - Yes, you are certainly welcome to share here if you'd like us to dig a bit deeper. I also wanted to mention that replying to the forums via e-mail attaches your signature. You are welcome to pop in and edit if needed.
