I'm not sure when, but jQuery was removed from SL360. I have now version v3.37.21453.0 installed and all my courses with jQuery stop working. The last version that I know was working properly is v3.33.20697.0.
We have a huge collection of courses with jQuery and now if we would like to edit/update them they will stop working without rewriting the code!
To counteract potential security concerns, jQuery was removed from Storyline 360 on January 21, 2020. You can still use jQuery to write custom JavaScript triggers if you're comfortable with it. You just need to reference the jQuery library directly and this guide provides more details on how!

That's a great question! Right now, jQuery is what we've investigated and documented.
