I'm new here and just getting my head around the intricacies of storyline. I'm trying to send a variable from an external js file using player.setvar();. This works when I'm viewing the HTML version but not the flash version?
Looking at player(GetPlayer()) in the console its just the embed code and the console spits out "TypeError: player.setvar is not a function". What am I doing wrong?
I'm not equipped to handle Javascript issues - but I did want to point out that the story.html is the Flash version, and the story_html5.html is the HTML5 version. Also, there is a good article here on some Javascript best practices.
You may also want to post more of your code or even a sample .story file here so that other community members can take a look at what you've set up and offer advice.

I'm not equipped to handle Javascript issues - but I did want to point out that the story.html is the Flash version, and the story_html5.html is the HTML5 version. Also, there is a good article here on some Javascript best practices.

Thanks for the reply Ashely, it turned out it was some kind of cross domain issue with some videos.
