Jump to next slide

Apr 18, 2014

In the view in the image below, is there a keyboard shortcut for me to go from slide 3.5 to 3.6 without clicking the mouse in the navigation pane at the left? I need to do a massive edit on the callout color for all the slides, and don't want to have to keep clicking on the next slide in the navigation pane after I paste the format for the callout each time. I would have thought something like the Page Down key would do it, but it doesn't.

Hi Jim!

I believe this should work for you, at least I hope it does - it's the only trick I know for this :)

When you have the slide view open and you need to navigate through the slides up or down, select one of the slides in the list to the left. Use the "Up" or "Down" arrow to navigate through the slides.

This does work well for navigating and reviewing content, but once you place content on a slide that list loses focus. You'll have to select an item in the list again in order for the keys to control which slide is selected.

May not help since you need to modify content in the slides - but I thought I'd share, just in case.

Looking forward to any other tips that the community can share as well!
