From what I can determine is that thee cue points are most likely the issue. They trigger an action at a specific point on the timeline so jumping to a point just past a cue point means that action is never triggered. They could just change it from a cue point to a cue range but that would be a lot more action planning on our side. I'm willing to put in the extra work to have a better final product.
We just released the newest version of Storyline 360 (Build 3.38.21779.0) this morning, which brings the Jump to Time Trigger! This feature allows you to create unique interactions by using triggers that jump to different times or cue points on the timeline. For more details on this, please check out this knowledge base article!

I'm baaaaaack!
You might consider resorting to bribery. I think that's the only way you'll get your feature implemented.
welcome back everyone, Happy 2020 all!! And here's to hoping Ina doesn't "have to do it all by herself" for all of this year (:

Hi Everyone,
I am happy to share some good news!

The next step is to update Storyline 360 by heading to your Articulate 360 desktop app and clicking "Update" next to Storyline 360.
As always, we are happy to answer any questions you have by posting in this discussion, or you can contact our Support Engineers directly.
Vincent, thank you for bringing some good news to my Tuesday morning!! Updating now...
This is great news, unless you have Storyline 3 where we will never see the feature.
Reference.
It is over seven years since I first requested this functionality, through the first SL, SL2 and SL3.
Please don't now tell me it is only going to be offered on Storyline 360.
I have SL3. I don't need or want to pay for SL360.
They got ya Tim.
