In the course that i'm building, jump to previous slide trigger takes you to the previous slide as per the sequence. But in one of the slides, it is moving to the last visited page. The trigger is on the master slide. Can someone tell me why this is happening and how I can fix it?
'previous slide' means the slide last visited. You can trigger it to move back to the sequential previous slide by using the reference to that slide number. I know this is how it works by default in my projects. Have you checked the layout of the slide in question to see if the master slide triggers are correct?
What's confusing me is why the trigger works the way I want it on all slides but one. Since it's just one trigger being used on all slides, shouldn't it work the same way everywhere?
Yes. I have resolved it for the time being by adding a trigger on the page to jump to the specific page. When doing so, the issue popped up in another slide. So, now all slides have individual triggers instead of just one trigger on the master slide.

Hi Wendy,
Thank you. That's how I fixed it for now.

Hi Suneet
you'd expect so - that's why I thought if you had it on the layouts of the master and something was awry there that might explain it.
Hi Suneet,
If you're able to share the .story file here we can take a look at what may be happening - but it sounds like you already resolved it.

Thanks Sunkeet for the update, and if you're able to share it privately you can send it along here.
