Jump to slide within a feedback slide
May 15, 2014
We use a customised player for our online education activities and so the Next, Prev and Submit buttons etc are all disabled on all pages in the published activity so that users only see our own navigation player buttons. I've found that if you build a feedback page with a Jump to Slide link, when you return to the feedback page it forcibly displays the player buttons - you can see how it displays in the step by step screenshots below:
Storyline page:
Published view - first view of feedback slide:
View of feedback AFTER it returns from the Jump to Slide:
I also had this confirmed with a blank, non-template test that it does exactly the same thing. Can you tell me if there's any way to fix this or do I need to put in an enhancement request?

Hi Emily and welcome to Heroes!
I can't see your images - but the built in player buttons may come back on a revisit or review, as Storyline isn't able to tell that you created your own custom buttons and thinks the user needs a way to navigate again.
If you'd like to have an option to disable the Prev and Next buttons during quiz review so you can use your own custom navigation buttons, please let us know. We value your feedback!
Hi Ashley,
Thanks for that - I'll certainly put in a request for that as we really do not want the standard player buttons appearing when we use our own.
