Jump to the next slide ONLY when time line ends
Nov 03, 2014
Hi!
I have a problem with next button in my project. I need to go to the next slide (in the same scene or in a new one) ONLY when the time line ends.
This is what I did with variables:
- Set scena x equal to true when timeline ends
- Set end slide equal to true when timeline start IF scena x is equal to true
- Set end slide equal to false when timeline start IF scena x is equal to false
This works perfectly on 90% of the slides but not in a few ones!! All the slides have the same triggers settings. I don't know where is the problem.. :(
Almost all the not working slides are duplications of others (working well): I have updated the trigger, changing the reference of the variable, but somesting is still wrong... Do I need to change other settings? Where?
Thank you in advance for your help!

Hi ileana,
It's hard to know for sure without seeing the actual file. Is it possible that you're using the same variable twice and that it's carrying a setting over from a previous slide and this causes an issue?
If you could, please upload a couple slides as an example and we can take a look!

Hi Mike!
Yes I use the same variable more than twice (but changing the conditions). In other slides this is not a problem.
Attached an axample in a couple of slide (the netx button works from 1.1. to 2.1 and from 2.2 to 2.2 but not from 2.2 to 2.3. !)

Hi ileana,
It looks like the variables that are troublesome are set to True by default. If you change those to False, your system works.
I hope this helps!
