I have a jump to trigger to a URL that should be opening at a specific location on the page but this is not working. Instead, the page is opening at the top of the page. Can anyone tell me why this might be happening?
Dana - The webpage itself might be forcing this behavior, essentially ignoring or even stripping out the anchor reference when the user's browser loads the page. Hopefully someone with more expertise can weigh in on this one.
If the page itself has an anchor, that's not something that Storyline would strip out - but there is no way to set a URL trigger to open to a particular point on a web page, within Storyline. As Robert mentioned it may be the web page itself, and you may want to test it in a few other browsers to see if the behavior is consistent.

Dana. Does the target URL (webpage) have an HTML anchor at the location where you are jumping to?
.Yes, but I'm not the developer of the web page, It was developed using Dreamweaver and has an anchor. I'm assuming HTML.

Can anyone on Articulate staff plase verify Robert''s answer? Thanks!

Just tried to link to a page with an anchor and it worked fine.
I just added #anchor_name to the end of the link.
Thanks Jose for testing that out and sharing!
Yes Jose, Thank you for testing.!
Our link has the anchor name (#New) at the end. But still not working. Were you running it through an LMS?
Yup, it does work outside LMS.
