I've built a freeform D&D activity, but no matter what I select, when I click Submit, I get the same result: Invalid Answer. You must complete the question before submitting.
In file you provided you have selected the pick one type interaction free form which should be Drag Drop Instead of pick one, see attachment for reference, you can also find the link here to see how to convert slide to free form interaction.
hope this helps, sorry for multiple posts removed actually the wrong post was sent several times.
This isn't quite what I'm looking for. The problem with making this a D&D is that I have multiple correct answers. I've been trying to follow this example:
Thanks for sharing and providing an update. I took a look at your file and I think your triggers were just out of order. You want to be sure the off-stage objects are updating prior to submission.
You are most welcome to post here Eric. You can also start a new thread if the question is not related to the title here as that will benefit the community more.
Hi Eric! Sorry for the delay! I took a look at this slide, changed the grouped objects to images and it seems to be working now. Let me know what you think.
I just selected the items, right click, save as image. I, personally, have no success with setting triggers on grouped objects and have seen others report similar in other threads. Perhaps a personal preference so I do not have to worry about the 'order' of items. There are so many ways to do the same thing in Storyline :) Such versatility.
No error message. But unlike when the user gets the objects in the right place, when they're in the wrong place, the Submit button just doesn't work. No feedback or anything.

Hi Eric! Looks like Prashant popped in to assist you here, just let us know if you need anything further.
Prashant - keep us informed if you notice any other issues in Heroes like this :)
Wow, thank you. I'll take a look!
Prashant, Leslie,

Hi Eric!
Thanks for sharing and providing an update. I took a look at your file and I think your triggers were just out of order. You want to be sure the off-stage objects are updating prior to submission.
THanks! That solved that problem. Now there's another error in the States. Off to play detective!
Eric
Glad that worked for you Eric, just let us know if you need anything further. Good luck in your detective work :)
Leslie, if I'm at a loss, is there a way to further help? Or should I just post here?

What's going on with your states?
This is supposed the be the correct response:
But no matter what I do, it tells me I've selected the wrong response. File is attached. Any suggestions?
Hi Eric! Sorry for the delay! I took a look at this slide, changed the grouped objects to images and it seems to be working now. Let me know what you think.
That's awesome, Leslie! Thanks!
So, how did you change them to images? And why did it matter?
Eric

Okay, Leslie, almost there. Now how do I prevent the items from "snapping back" if dropped on the wrong target?
You are going to have to build in some 'Drop Incorrect' triggers as well to accomplish this goal.
Hey Leslie,
Sorry to keep bugging you. I'm almost there. If you can help, I'd very much appreciate it.
I've added "Drop Incorrect" triggers for all the incorrect responses. But I still don't know how to keep the incorrect responses from snapping back...
Eric
Hey Eric! Simple fix :)
Check your triggers, look like you did not change your Object in the trigger for the Drop Incorrect.
It says Slide 1.1 Module Review...and for Picture 2, for instance, it should say Picture 2.
Change to this:
THanks, Leslie! You guys are great.
I feel like an idiot, but how do I get the Submit button to work when the user places the objects in the wrong place?
Are you getting an error or a message? Do you have a results slide in your project?
No error message. But unlike when the user gets the objects in the right place, when they're in the wrong place, the Submit button just doesn't work. No feedback or anything.
Do you have an updated file? I didn't actually put all of your drop incorrect in your file ;)
