Keyboard equivalents for multiple choice questions?
Mar 25, 2013
We are building a course that needs to be 508-compliant. Part of that compliance includes having a keyboard equivalent for every mouse interaction, so that impaired users can select the answer to a multiple choice question without having to use a mouse.
Is there any way that we can have multiple choice questions where the user can type A, B, C etc. in addition to clicking the correct answer with a mouse?
I know of one way that I want to avoid: Assigning triggers (show layer Incorrect when the user presses the b key). The problem there is that we'd have to do that for each and every question individually. Is there any other way?

Hi Michael,
My only idea would be to use the trigger method you mentioned, but I can see that being really tedious.
Maybe try asking over in our Building Better Courses forum?
Good luck, Michael, and please keep us updated with any ideas you have.
Thanks!
