Keyboard execustion no longer working?

I haven't seen any changes in the most recent update. Is there a chance you would be willing to post your files so I can review? It is my pleasure to view your project files.

Hi Cara thanks for the offer but it is a project for a client of mine and is confidential. Plus it is huge. I definitely see a difference with button behaviour after the update. I have to investigate a little more but it seems like any buttons where I added text to the states do not work.

Is this the accessibility activation thing? Tab to button and SPACE or ENTER works for activation on my end. I'm also able to assign key listeners to triggers and activate stuff. 

This is with release 1.

Hi Steve, it is the accessibility thing. The tab to button works but the space to enter seems random. It works on some buttons but not others. 

How do you assign key listens? This might be something I could use for some of the stuff that is none compliant. 

Use the trigger event:

When the user presses a key _______

You can attach this to anything on the slide.

Steve, have you applied the upgrade? There is definately something wrong with this functionality now. I have a copy of my course that I published before the upgrade and pressing the space bar works but after the upgrade it does not.

I should not have applied the upgrade mid project, but I really wanted that translation export.

Odd. I've applied the update and a couple of test buttons are working for me. Anything standing out with those that don't work? 

I am using the standard SL buttons - but have done a few things to them - resized them so they are smaller, used an icon instead of text and added a text on the hover state.

Some of the buttons that I just left alone still work ok.

Also I have some invisible shapes over a screen cap - these shapes have on click triggers that jump to a layer. Thes worked fine prior to the update and are not working now. I have added  selected and visited states  to these shapes.

Hi Carla, I submitted a problem ticket to the Articulate Support team so will let you know what they find out.

I am starting to think it might be a problem with my .story file because nobody else seems to have the same problem.
