Knowledge Checks
Jun 01, 2017
Hello,
I am new to Storyline 2 and I wanted to ask how can I create an object that will check a learner's knowledge and then direct them back to that material if they are incorrect. So, I am envisioning this:
1.Material to learn
2. Multiple choice question
3. If the learner gets it correct they proceed
4. However if they get it wrong they go back to the material to review and then go back to the knowledge check again. They have to repeat this until they get it right.
Can this be done in Storyline 2? Is there a video that might explain this?
Thank you,
Teague

Welcome to SL development. Layers - specifically Correct, Try Again, and Incorrect - provided by Storyline is how slide advancement works. A web search for Articulate's video how-to guides on layers and feedback types should point you in the right direction. Good luck
Hi Teague,
Welcome to the E-Learning Heroes community!
As Brian mentioned - feedback layers are your go to here! Here's a tutorial on how to use them, and you'll want to look at the "branching" options.
You may want to read this article on "How to Create a Successful E-Learning Knowledge Check" for some more ideas on how to structure these.
Let me know if you need anything else. 😀
