Hello. I'm experiencing a frustrating problem. In the attached image, the background shows what my screen looks like in SL 360. The language is Spanish. Player language is set to Spanish. Default player font is Open Sans. Looks great in my editing screen. When I preview the slide or publish the course, I get what is shown in front - which is clearly not Spanish. Why is it rendering differently than in my edit window? And rendering ignoring the language setting? PLEASE HELP!!!
Font that is changing is Gotham. I just changed those areas to Arial Unicode and they render correctly. Any way to get Gotham font to work (my client built the original course using it and may not want to change if it can be avoided)?
Hi there, Bill. Thanks for sharing that screenshot! It looks like those text fields are a part of the slide or master slide layout, rather than the Player.
We have a current issue with Gotham font not rendering properly in HTML5 output, which is also how the Preview appears. I'm going to add this discussion to our report so we can update you on any changes!
Another customer mentioned that he had two versions of the font (.otf and .ttf) installed on his machine, and removing one allowed Gotham to be rendered correctly. Can you check to see if that applies to you as well?
Hi Crystal. I also have TTF and OTF. I uninstalled all of them and then only put back the ones I needed as OTF and it appears that allows my text to render correctly now. Thank you for the suggestion! Hopefully I don't have files in other programs that needed the TTF but if so, I'll just change it to use the OTF versions.

Thanks for confirming, Bill! I'm glad this suggestion got you moving forward. I'll keep you updated about this issue.
Great news, Bill! We fixed the issue you reported where the Gotham font style would not render correctly in the HTML5 output.
Here's how you can update Storyline 360 to see all the latest features and fixes. If this problem resurfaces, please record a Peek 360 screencast for me, and I'll be happy to help!
