Language support in Storline

Aug 30, 2012

Finally, I managed to get permission to download the trial version of Articulate Storyline! I am going to start using it today.

Would like to know if someone has created courses in languages other than English using Articulate Storyline.

Esp. if someone has experience creating courses in Indo-Aryan Languages (using any tool), please share your experience.

Hi Sana,

Not creating per se, but now using the translation tool "in anger", Spanish done so far, Polish being tested, French + other European languages on the way.

Apart from a couple of minor niggles the main issue is having to re-size everything, but that was always going to be done.

What specifically do you want/need to know?

Hi Sana,

Articulate Storyline should have no problems supporting any language that you need to use.  Right now, we have Player Text Labels available for Hindi, but not for Malayalam or Tamil.  So, you'll just need to create your own:

Also, if you're using a right to left language, you'll want to review this article as well:

Hello Brian,

I have a question, in fact, I'm creating a course in hindi, but the characters in hindi can not be displayed in the menu. I would like to know if you have a solusion for this problem. Thanks

Lei
