When I dock my laptop and display storyline on regular monitors, storyline shows up fine. However, if I try to use it directly from my laptop, it doesn't show 3/4 of the items on the screen (see attached). Any ideas?
Thanks, Bailey! It's hard to tell from that image alone what's going on, but I can certainly see how something is cut off.
It would help to know what version of Storyline you're using, and if you've checked the screen resolution/DPI settings for your two monitors. I'd look at using as close to 100% (or 96 DPI) as possible.
I'm using 360 (and just completed the update last week...I thought that might fix it, but it still cuts off pieces of it). It doesn't cause problems on the monitors when the laptop is docked. It only does it on the laptop when it's not docked.
The latest update (Storyline 360, build 3.31.19951.0) included a number of fixes which are always noted in the linked release notes.
For the issue you've run into, I'm still not clear exactly what you're seeing. Were you able to check the screen resolution of your laptop when it's undocked? How does that compare with your docking monitor?
If you need more help, our Support Team is only an email away! They could offer a screen sharing session to see exactly what you see on the computer.
My laptop resolution is 1080x1920...but, I think I figured it out. It seems like it's cutting off portions of the screen when I have a file open while I'm docked, and then undock to work on my laptop. I can just close out of the file before I undock and that fixes it!
