I have a 280 + slide Story in Storyline, it is basically a main menu with links to many PPT show files imported into storyline. The story file is over 400+ mb. When I try to open it, I just get flashing icons in the story view and a locked up program.
Any assistance would be appreciated. (It would not open with 1.01, I just updated to 1.02, same thing.)
The first thing I would do is make sure that all of the content for that project is local. Work on your local drive (your C: drive). Working on a network drive or a USB drive can cause erratic behavior, including file corruption, loss of audio, and other unexpected behavior. You should also make sure the directory path to your project files and your published output is less than 260 characters (for example C:\Articulate). Avoid using special characters, accents or symbols in your file names.

If you've confirmed that all of the content is local and you're still not able to open it, are you able to tell if it locks up at a certain point? Or is it random?
