Welcome to E-Learning Heroes, Dennis!

I'm afraid the images are a little small, I'm having trouble seeing exactly what's happening. I can tell there are some differences (looks like some of the content is cut off).

Can you tell me how you're viewing the course when this happens? Are you previewing the course, or does this only happen after publishing?

The first thing you may want to do is check the project file location:

  • Work on your local drive (your C: drive). Working on a network drive or a USB drive can cause erratic behavior, including file corruption, loss of audio, and other unexpected behavior.
  • You should also make sure the directory path to your project files and your published output is less than 260 characters (for example C:\Articulate).
  • Avoid using special characters, accents or symbols in your file names (this includes spaces and underscores).

Additional information regarding "Naming Files, Paths, and Namespaces" in Windows operating systems can be found in the following Microsoft article.

If, however, this only happens when publishing, please make sure you're not viewing the project output files locally. If you view published Storyline content on your local hard drive or send it to someone else to view on their local hard drive, you'll encounter security restrictions from the computer, web browser, Flash Player, and network that'll cause various features of your content to fail.

To properly test your published content and share it with others, upload it to the environment for which it was published. Please review the following article for details:
Thanks!

Hello Cristine,

I'm getting this whem i preview the course, i dont know what happens when i publish the article.

It seems like the content is cut off. or the entire content shifts up whem i insert the "grade result slide".

It looks like the "Grade result slide" is the problem, but when i delete this slide, the problem stays the same in the course.

Im working on a local drive D:articulatestoryline

I cant seem to find the problem.

Hi there Dennis!

Thanks very much for the information.

First, you may want to try checking to make sure your system is running the correct DPI. Storyline will function as expected when Windows is set to 96 DPI (dots per inch).

Storyline doesn't currently support 120 DPI. If your system is set to 120 DPI, you may experience erratic behavior, such as:

*  Elements of the application are misplaced or distorted.

*  Objects are misplaced or distorted when previewed or published.

*  Zoomed images don't work as expected.

*  Font sizes are incorrect after using the translation features.

Here's how you can switch to 96 DPI:

If that doesn't help, can you share the .STORY file here? I'd be happy to take a look and see if I experience the same thing.

Thanks!
