I've inserted a new layout in the Feedback Master and added it to a layer of my choice.
All the design elements where applied, but unfortunately not the "Hide layer this layer" trigger, which was supposed to be alread in the master so we won't need to add it to each slide.
Not sure about others in the community, but I'm not understanding what you mean. Can you post a slide? or perhaps someone will jump in who does understand your question.
I'll need to defer to someone else here. I'm not sure how you did what you did! When I look at the file, it seems your slide is using the blank layout from the Slide Master and the close layer on that slide is using a new close layer you created in the Feedback Master. I've never done anything like that, so someone else will need to take a look.
I see what you did there! :) Looks like you selected the layout from the layer by right-clicking on the layer's stage. Learn something every day - I did not know you could do that. Very cool.
The problem, however, is that the button and trigger function aren't working for the layer. I think this is because you're using a Freedback Master layout for this slide - apparently normal Master slides are not accessible, just Feedback Master slides.
In this case, it might actually be best to put the "Close" button, with the trigger on this layer. You can copy it and paste it onto new layers, or simply duplicate the layer after you have it set up the way you like it (assuming you want the additional layers in the same slide).

Hi Rebecca,
thanks for your reply.
I've attached an example story file.
On the first slide is a button that shows a layer of this slide.
This layer has a predefined layout mit a close button. The "Hide" Trigger was set in the predefined layout.
The question is: Do I need to add this trigger on each layer manually?

Good luck!
Hi Rebecca,
You understand exactly what I did.
Thanks for the try
Hope someone else can help.
Thanks
Johanna
