you know when you are looking at something for too long, you cant tell the wood from the trees? Well, this is probably straigtforward but I cant get layer 3 to appear as it should on screen loading
I had a quick look at your file. If you want layer 3 to appear when the slide starts, I would simplify your current trigger and replace it with one that shows layer 3 when timeline starts (no need to make this trigger dependant on the state of all the buttons).
Sort of fix is attached. Will only work if button 6 is selected though. Other alternative would be Phils suggestion which I have attached in your test.story file as a slide 2.

Hi Pat, not quite sure what you're trying to do here.
Is it if any box on the base layer is is unchecked show layer 3? Is that right?
thanks,
Laith

hi Laith,
that's exactly it
thanks
Pat
thanks Michael but the layer should only appear when the boxes are not selected so it has to ba a trigger right?
Why not add a trigger to show layer on timeline start and add a hide layer on the objects.
i think this is because this trigger only fires when an object changes state and normal is a strange state and most states are classed as normal.
Pat, I must have misread your question then. In that case, I'd go with Phil's suggestion.
Hey Pat,

Hope it helps!
Thanks,

thanks for the responses - went with Phil's option and it works
Sorry, misread Phils suggestion. But my version of his fix it on slide 2.
