Layer Reveal

May 02, 2019

Hi Everyone,

I am just wondering if there is an easy way to show all your layers at once in storyline? I have a process flow where I show each step one-by-one but then at the end I want to show them all. I did a work around where I just copied each layer onto one at the end but I am wondering if there is a button I could click to enable to show all layers for one layer and not all layers.

I hope that wasn't too confusing.

Thank you for the help!

You could create your own button like this: Create a layer with nothing on it. Put a trigger on it to show each of the other layers on it in the order you want when the timeline starts.

The problem with that is that if any layer is set to close other layers, they won't all show all at once. If you change their properties to "Do not close other layers", then you will have to close them manually when you are showing them one at a time.

So the trade off is that you can't have them show all at once if you want them to automatically hide other layers, and vice versa.
