So here's what I'm trying to do. On the "quiz" slide I have a character with a call-out to give directions on how to answer the question (multiple choice).
When the participant selects the correct answer I want the character to change to a "happy" face.
When the participant selects the incorrect response, I want her fact to change to a different face.
I'm not sure exactly how to do this using layers etc.

Hi Mark! That's a possibility for sure using the built in layers from your quiz slides. I'll put a simple example together for you.
