I got a strange situation. It is a freeform drag and drop slide. So I created a third layer (1st, 2nd layer is incorrect, correct). But the 3rd layer does not show appropriately, it shows base layer instead.
I played around with all options Hide base layers... But it does not work. Please see the file below.
I have looked at this file a couple of times. There is something weird happening when you tell Storyline to hide the base layer. I created a dummy result layer that just had a text box. It doesn't show if I tell Storyline to hide the base layer but displays properly if I do not. Also, it doesn't show if I hide the objects in the base layer individually. I don't have time to figure out if there is a single object on the base layer causing this problem.
I recommend opening a support case for this problem.
Thanks a lot for your supporting. I did a work around, to create a new slide instead of the new layer. Then it works :) Just if I could understand the issue why it did not work for the layer then it is good.
Thanks for sharing your file, and it looks like we were able to replicate the issue on our end. I'm so sorry you ran into this issue, as it seems like this may be a bug.
Here's some more detail about how we tackle bugs. I'm really sorry that I can't say if this issue will be fixed, but you're in the right place to stay updated on this bug's progress.

Hello!
Thanks for including your file! I don't see any triggers the indicate when "Untitled Layer 4" is to be displayed.
With that, you'll want to add a trigger to show that layer. Let me know if you have any questions!
Hello,
I actually want to show the "Result" Layer. The "Untitled Layer 4" are no needed.
