I got a trial version of Storyline 2 and I have to transform 75 slides into a sleek presentation. But I am very naive in designing or technical stuff. . I tried adding layers which will trigger using the default NEXT Button but it didn't work. So I got rid of them and added NEXT and PREV buttons manually. But I can only move between one layer, if I add one more..it messes up. Also, if I have trigger when user clicks Next button it goes to next slide it doesn't work either. Is it coz I have assigned multiple triggers to same Next button? Am I doing something fundamentally wrong with the layers. Please advise asap. Thanks a lot.
I took a look at the file, and the Next button on slide 1.2 only has one trigger, to show the layer. If you want this button to then jump to the next slide, you could add the button on the layer as well, and add another trigger. If you add both show layer and jump to next slide on the same button, it will do both, so you will not get to see the layer unless you revisit the slide.
Your slide 1 is working as designed, and I updated slide 2 for you.
