Layout, Flow, and Arrows

Mar 24, 2017

I am creating a new quiz.  I have an arrow going from slide 1 to 2; which start at top and go down. The remaining slides are going from left to right, and do not have the connecting arrows.

Help...please.

Hey Shawna!

Are you referring to when you're in Storyview? If so, it sounds as though those slides without the connecting arrows may be in separate scenes. To move them into the correct scene sequence, you can simply click and drag them to the right location and those arrows you're referring to will appear. I created a quick screen recording to demonstrate this, take a Peek at it over here and please let me know if that does the trick :)

Shawna,

There are no triggers connecting any of the slides, except for slide 1 to slide 2. Even if the only trigger they have is a jump to next slide, when you drag #3 below #2 and see the blue arrow, #3 will stay under #2, if there is a trigger connecting them.

Notice in the lower right hand corner of Ali's video, her slides have next and previous buttons. Those buttons come with the triggers to jump from one slide to the next. If you don't want to use those buttons, you can create your own method of advancing from slide to slide, but you must have some way to connect the slides. Don't worry about storyview; when you have the slides conneced, they will move to the right spot on their own. (it's like magic, only better!)
