I have a slide where students listen to a word in Spanish and have to choose the correct answer between two pictures (ex: a table and a chair). However, the multiple choice quiz prompts me to always write something on the "choice" field, when I just want students to click on a blank button.
How can I do this? Do I need a different type of quiz?

You might be better doing a freeform- pick one or pick many type quiz, where the learner chooses the picture that relates to the sound.
For the multiple choice option as you asked about it- you could just insert a space- so there is a symbol but not one that is visible.
