Length of slide show
Nov 27, 2016
Is there a max and min of slides the program can "save" as a work file? In other words I have had three different presentations that were saved various ways and when opened the next day the file shows that it is corrupted. I have had fairly lengthy presentations on all occasions and it has become very disheartening. I am not sure if I have a computer issue or a problem with the length of my presentation.

Hi Clay,
I've mostly seen this happeningwhen your project is on a) a network drive or b) USB drives. Is your project located on your local c:\ drive?
Yes I have saved the projects on a USB drive and on the network. My laptop does not have enough HD space to add all theses files. When I am at work I save to the network and while at home in the eve I save to a USB drive. If the program was on the company network and I had remote access would this work better? At the present time I will not be using the program until I get this resolved. Unfortunately I have lost over twenty hours of work because of this issue.
USB or network is known to cause issues. Time to get some extra diskspace!
Hi Clay,
As Jeff mentioned, you'll want to work solely on your local drive as detailed here. You can back up copies to the network/USB drive - but you'll want to ensure that you edit, open and save locally first and then move the files to that location.
