I have a quiz that is having 15 questions and have set it to pull 10 questions randomly for assessment. There are 7 questions which have been selected as always.
If the learner fails the first attempt and clicks retry. He is able to attempt only 5 questions.
hard to say without seeing your file setup - can you share it and let us know if you are publishing to web or LMS and using html or html5 output and which browser are you viewing in
What version and update of Storyline are you using? If you're unable to share the .story file with us here to take a look at the behavior you're welcome to send it along to our Support Engineers. They're always at the ready to dig into a file and it's kept confidential (forums are public).
Thanks Yusuf for the example. I gave it a test at SCORM Cloud which is an industry standard for LMS testing, and you can view that one here as well. When I did the "retake assessment" it brought me back to take 10 questions again so it all seemed to be working as you described. Can you double check that link and let me know how it behaves for you? Also, did you confirm that you are publishing with the latest update of Storyline 2, Update 11?
I'm facing this issue while checking an HTML5 output on PC chrome. If you check the HTML5 output on PC chrome. You will be able to replicate the issue.
Hello Yusef - I published your course (here) since the link above does not seem to be working well for me and I am seeing the same issue you are reporting here. I will take a closer look and get back with you as well. Thanks for the update and letting us know how your testing went as well.
Hi again Yusef - I took another look and I am both unable to recreate this issue in a new file and unable to recreate if I import your course into a new file.
So, I would advise importing your slides into a new file as explained in this documentation and hopefully that gets you back to good.
Hello Yusef - I apologize for the confusion. I saw the issue that you are reporting when publishing and viewing in HTML5 as well.
When I imported your course into a new file, I was no longer seeing the issue.
I failed to share the actual course link because the formatting is a bit off, not sure if that's due to story size or fonts, but my concern was that the retry option was working as intended. That was why I advised for you to perform the activity on your own to see if it alleviated the issue.
You can take a look at my published output here if you'd like, but as I mentioned the formatting isn't the best :)

I am publishing to LMS and checking it on PC Chrome Browser - HTML5. The problem occurs only on HTML5.

Attaching an example of the error.
The problem occurs in HTML5 output. I've tested on Chrome Version 57

Hi Leslie,
I guess there is a confusion. While checking the published version that Ashley shared I am still facing the same issue.
Can you confirm if you are checking "HTML5" output and not the "HTML" output. Attaching a screenshot to make it easier for you
