In my lesson after a user completes each section they return to the "Main Menu". I would like them to hear a different audio clip each time they return.
So after they complete section 1 the lesson returns to this menu and plays an audio that says "click on section 2" to allow them to click and enter section 2. This is repeated for each section 3, 4, 5, and 6.
Can anyone suggest the most efficient way to do this?
thanks Wendy I actually have already set up a variable that gets adjusted at the end on each section so I am halfway there, didn't know you can specify audio with a trigger, thought they actually had to reside on timeline.I had created duplicate menu slides with specific audio but that is not very efficient.
I will try what you suggested. I will let you know how it goes. Thanks so much.
I setup first and second menu items with related audio clips and seems to be working perfectly. I will complete the rest of the menu items and audio and re-post. Learn something new everyday, why I love my job.
Love that, Mark - glad you got the help you needed here! I still find I'm learning something new with Articulate every day too, and I've been here 4 years. 😀

Hi Mark
you could use a number variable that is triggered at the end of each section. e.g. sectComplete.
On the final slide of each section add a trigger:
Then on the menu slide have triggers:
Play audio Sect 2 when timeline starts on menu slide on condition sectComplete=2
Play audio Sect 3 when timeline starts on menu slide on condition sectComplete=3
repeat trigger for all sections.
Hope that helps.

HI Mark
if you have the audio on each separate layer - which sometimes works better than having on the base - just change the trigger to
show layer 'audio2' when timeline starts on base layer on condition sectComp=2
Shout out if you get stuck.
