I'm new here and relatively new to my company as an IT Procurement Manager. My company purchased a Storyline 3 license last October, is the license perpetual? I think I saw that it is in another discussion, but would like confirmation.
Do I have to renew/pay for maintenance/support at the end of the initial term?
One last question, we purchased the license for an affiliate company, can I transfer the license to them.
Hi Scott, and welcome to the E-Learning Heroes community! Also, congrats on the new role - it sounds like you have a lot going on!
Storyline 3 licenses are perpetual, so it was a one-time cost for your company and no additional renewal fees or maintenance costs needed. As for transferring the license, the Articulate End-User License Agreement entitles a single user to use Articulate software on a maximum of two computers, such as a home computer and work computer, or a desktop computer and laptop computer.
If you'd like to install the software on additional computers or would like more than one individual to use the software, you'll need to purchase additional licenses.
If you have more specific questions about the licensing our team is standing by to help! You can reach them using any of the contact options outlined here.
