Licensing

Oct 23, 2012

Hi our organisation has just purchased Articulate Storyline for the two e-learning developers.

I am just getting started and I’m duly impressed.

I have it loaded on my desktop PC as it is more powerful that my laptop.  Would it infringe licensing if I also had it loaded onto my laptop for the times that I am working away from my office?

This is from the End-User License Aggrement:

2.3 Limitations. Licensed Products may only be used for Licensee's internal business purposes, but not by more than the number of authorized Users for which all fees have been paid by or on behalf of Licensee. Unless Licensor expressly permits a greater number, User (but not any other person) may install and use the Licensed Products on up to 2 computers controlled by User at the same time. Use of any copy of the Licensed Products shall otherwise comply with the terms and conditions in this Agreement. No copies of the Licensed Products may be installed, used or retained on any computer for which User is not (or is no longer) the primary user.

According to the aggreement, only one developer can use a single license, but the software can be installed on two computers at time.
