Lightbox displays gray area during browser full screen

Jul 28, 2015

Hello, I am working on a Learning Course using Articulate Storyline. I have many lightboxes displaying information inside my course, however, recently I noticed that whenever I am using my browser in fullscreen view (normally Chrome's F11) the content displayed in the lightbox remains in normal size and the extra space in the lightbox is filled with a gray area. Anyone else has noticed this? any idea on how to fix it? Thank you very much for your help

Hi Luis,

I'm not sure what you mean by "extra space" in the lightbox? Are you referring to the content that is on the slide from which you have entered the lightbox? That sounds as expected - such as in the sample image below of a lightbox slide:

The original background slide content is greyed out and the lightbox is in focus. Is that what you're seeing? If you're seeing something different could you share an example image here and allow us to look at your .story file?

Thanks Luis - so it looks like viewing in full screen ignores the scroll bar on your lightbox slide as well? I don't remember seeing anything like this, so I'd like need to take a look at the .story file (even just the two slides in question: the one that is being lightboxed and one with the link to lightbox another slide). You could also look at restricting how it'll be displayed by using the player and browser settings here.
