Lightbox slide transition very slow in Chrome

Dec 01, 2019

Hi, I have created a project using the lightbox slide function. It works fine in preview, but when I published it onto Review 360, the transition of the slides is very slow, at least 5 second delay to show the content of the slide.

Has anyone had the same problem?

Thank you!

Hi, Anya. Thanks for bringing this to our attention!

I haven't seen reports of this, so I'm glad you reached out! Can I grab a few more details?

  • What version of Chrome and Storyline 360 are you using?
  • Is this happening in other browsers or only in Chrome?
  • Would you be willing to share your .story file with us? You can share it privately by uploading it here. We'll publish and test the course in a similar environment, and delete it after!

Dear Katie,

Thank you very much for your email! It is not a big problem, just a few second delay on the first click, then it is fine. Please see my answers to your questions as follows,

* What version of Chrome and Storyline 360 are you using?

I am using Storyline 360 and Google Chrome Version 78.0.3904.108 (Official Build) (64-bit)

* Is this happening in other browsers or only in Chrome?

It happens in both Google chrome and Firefox.
