I have a lightbox on the incorrect layer of my quiz question. My goal is to have them to review the content if they get the question wrong. The lightboxed slides will come directly from the instructional part of my scene. The slide that's lightboxed is set to advance automatically.
When I play the lightbox slide it plays the slide then advances to the next slide instead of stopping.
Does anyone know how to fix this? Triggers, conditions, variables....
You probably want to look at the slide properties of the lightbox slide in the Storyview. It is most likely set to Auto-advance (that is the usual default for any additional slide added to your project).
You could use triggers with the "if this slide is lightboxed" or "if this slide is inside the player frame" conditions to either automatically advance at the slide's timeline or not. Here is an example for using these trigger conditions: http://dev.keypointlearn.com/xcl73_SL2/TipOfTheDay/Window/EN/story.html
Could you share the .story file here with us so that we could see how the lightbox is not working as expected and any other elements that may be interfering with it?

Yes, it is set to auto-advance. It's part of the course content and needs to auto-advance. Is there any way to advance by user when lightboxed?
thanks

I've been playing around with conditions and variables but I can't get it to work.
The first image is of slide I want to lightbox. It's set on auto-advance and has to stay that way.
The second image is incorrect layer of my question. The lightbox is triggered with a button.
It still doesn't work. Am I missing conditions?
thanks
Hello Renee,
Do you have a .story file you could share with us to take a look at the setup?
Hi Renee,
Could you share the .story file here with us so that we could see how the lightbox is not working as expected and any other elements that may be interfering with it?
Here is a quick example of how this might be set up. Hope that helps.
Thanks Michael, unfortunately I'm still working in Storyline 1 and can't open the file. Can you send screen shots instead?
thanks
