Likert survey feedback by result bracket
Jun 02, 2020
Hi all,
I'm trying to create a results slide based on a 2-slide, 20-question survey. I would like to show different layers based on the learner's input from the survey. Basically, if their total points from the survey is:
- 0-20 --> show layer 1
- 21-45 --> show layer 2
- 46-60 --> show layer 3
I've used the %Results.ScorePoints% variable to setup the conditions to show the layers. However, Storyline doesn't appear to be capturing the user input. It always reverts to "0 points".
Am I going about this wrong? Is this variable only usable in a graded quiz and not a survey? If not, is there another way to do this with a survey? I've seen other tutorials do this with multiple-choice questions, but I can't ask the learner to click through 20 slides for the survey.
This seems like a basic ask for a course. Any help would be very much appreciated.
Thanks!
