I'm running into a issue that in a bit strange. Some of the text (that is in a plan texbox) highlights on mouseover. I haven't set it to do anything. It's just text. Has anyone seen this? Is there a fix? I haven't experienced this before.
Is it possible that it is due to me running Storyline on a Mac?
Did you copy and paste this text from somewhere else? A thread here had the same problem, and it seemed that the original text was part of a hyperlink (lilac or lavender is the default hyperlink hover color).
I've had this problem frequently when I copy and paste text from a Word document, even though the text isn't a hyperlink in Word. I have found that if I paste the text into my Notebook program and then copy and paste it into Storyline it takes care of the problem. Not very efficient, but it works every time!
Just thought I'd throw in this quick tip, which may save you a step. The reason pasting into Notepad works is because it's a basic text program - that it is, it's text only with no binary code in it (text that's brought over from Word and other applications DO contain code). So when you C/P from Notepad into Articulate, it pastes as text only.
You can achieve the same result, that is "paste as text only", within Storyline, by clicking the Home tab on the ribbon and then, click the drop-down arrow on the Paste button. There are 3 choices there: Keep as text only is the last one.
Thanks for your help with this. Your solutions worked! I'll take special care next time in my copy/pasting. This was a rush project so it was fast and furious!
